Featuring the tastiest treats like roasted corn, blooming onions, cornbread, baked beans, fresh coleslaw and sizzling hot fries, this festival is heaven for food lovers. Help us welcome North America’s greatest rib teams as they compete for top awards including Best Ribs, Best Chicken, Best Sauce, Best Pig Rig and People’s Choice.

Nestled next to the picturesque Grand River, Brantford Civic Center makes for the perfect outdoor setting for this festival enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. The park will be packed with family-friendly fun including bouncy castles & inflatables, carnival games, train rides, what-a-ball, Batman, Disney Princesses, and a rib-eating contest!

Soak up the summer sun, relax in our beer garden with a refreshing beverage, and enjoy live musical entertainment at Brantford’s 11th annual Ribfest!

This is the post we have been dreading having to make for weeks...

It is with heavy hearts and overwhelming disappointment that the Brantford Kinsmen Ribfest steering committee must announce the postponement of our August 2020 event until August 2021.

This follows a difficult decision made Tuesday night by the City of Brantford in consultation with the Brant County Health Unit to cancel or postpone all municipal and third party public events on City-owned properties through until Monday, August 31st.

On behalf of our steering committee and the Kinsmen Club of Brantford Inc., we thank the businesses, organizations and sponsors who were preparing their Marketplace booths, food trucks and financial support for our 11th annual festival.

Please be advised that all 2020 Entertainment, Food & Marketplace Vendor and Sponsorship Applications will be considered for next year's event.
