Become one of our delicious Food Vendors who attended this spectacular family event yearly filled with food, fun, and entertainment.

Food Vendors are an important enhancement to the Ribfest. By participating you will build your brand within the community and give your company exposure to thousands of attendees that our event attracts annually.

How do I apply?

Please fill out application and return to us at ribfest[@]brantfordkinsmen.ca. You will be added to a contact list for event vending opportunities. The Committee’s Selection Process supports the overall goals and objectives of Ribfest and is equitable and transparent to all vendors.

When accepted you must:

  • Apply for a Special Event Food Truck vending license of $100.00 online via Cloudpermit through the City
    of Brantford Licensing Department. Questions? Email: licensing@brantford.ca or call (519) 759-4150.
  • Grand Erie Public Health Unit Vendor Application(s) (due 30 days in advance)
  • Submit COIs at least 90 days prior to the event, $2 million General Liability coverage, List The Corporation of the City of Brantford (58 Dalhousie Street, PO Box 818, Brantford, ON N3T 2J2) and Kinsmen Club of Brantford Inc. as additional insured, Clearly specify the event location, date(s) and activity

Food Vendors MUST complete (1) the Ribfest Application (2) and fees to attend, (3) provide applicable proof of insurance, (4) completed Health Unit Inspection form, and (5) Business Application with City of Brantford in order to obtain Licensing with City of Brantford. A copy must also be provided to us.

When is the deadline for applications

Final deadline for submission of food applications/forms is May 2

What are the vendor hours?

Food Vendor Hours:

Friday – 4PM-11PM, must be on-site by 3:30 pm and set up by 3:45 pm.
Saturday – 11AM-11PM, must be on-site by 10:30 am and set up by 10:45 am.
Sunday – 11AM-7PM. must be on-site by 10:30 am and set up by 10:45 am.
Participants cannot tear down until the festival ends at listed time above except in extreme weather conditions. If you have sold out of product, you may close your booth and leave your display items within your booth area until the event space has closed.

FOOD Vendors are:

BUSINESSES, CHARITY OR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION, SELLING FOOD & DRINKS TO EAT AT FESTIVAL(NON-RIBBERS)

Ribfest is not responsible if your license application is not received in time or is not accepted by City of Brantford.

City of Brantford requires all exhibitors, and nonprofits—everyone—to have insurance for the event. There are no exceptions.
