Yes, it’s Ribfest time, but it is also so much more! The 16th Annual Brantford Ribfest will take place at Mohawk Park, Brantford. Yes, you can buy ribs/pulled pork/chicken from our 5 of the best professional ribbers from North America who are competing for the titles are Crazy Canucks BBQ, Jack the Ribber, Brick Yard BBQ, Gator BBQ, RAZORBACK BBQ. They are ready to serve you and friends Award-Winning Mouth-Watering BBQ Smoked Ribs.

But there will be a variety of festival food vendors like, hot dogs, hamburgers, Blooming Onions, Fried Veggies, Sweet Potato Fries, Baked Potatoes and much more. Treat yourself to a cool beverage from Sassy Britches Brewery in the beer garden or a refreshing cooler Sponsored by Lancaster Construction bins, or just come for our activities: talented entertainment including lots of bands on stage, all weekend long.  Marketplace where there are so many great products for sale, and many family-friendly activities at  Kids/Family Zone with lots of bouncers and obstacle courses Sponsored by TD Bank.

There are a number of ways for the public to get involved in this year’s event. The Brantford Ribfest is currently seeking volunteers to assist with the festival. A number of positions are available including set-up crew, event greeters, parking attendants, and grounds maintenance to assist with keeping the festival clean. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and youth can use their time toward their required community service hours. Applications are available at brantfordribfest.com/volunteers-inquiry/ and will be accepted until Friday, August 2th at 4:00 p.m.
